[SOLVED] NVMe SSD not being detected by BIOS

I just got a new NVMe SSD ( Western Digital 1TB WD Green SN350 - WDS100T3G0C ) for my pc and is not showing up in the BIOS and Windows. I haven't had issues adding drives in the past and this my first time adding an m.2 SSD and I'm not sure what to do. I have tried changing settings in the BIOS and have been going through the internet for the past few hours and cant find anything that seems to work. I have made sure its supported by my motherboard and have put it in the right m.2 slot. At this point I'm lost as what to do.

Ryzen 7 2700x
16GB ddr4 3200mhz Trident Z
RTX 2060 6GB
Windows 10 version 20H2

Have you updated the BIOS on motherboard?
nvme can appear in storage areas in some bios.
any other drives in PC?
could be the m.2 slot only work of you not using some sata channels, I can't tell from your manual though - https://download.asrock.com/Manual/B450 Steel Legend.pdf
