lets change the topic of this thread, too much burning going on. in anycase who wants to pursue and END the mis-discussion can come on the irc and we can settle it by a peaceful debate. u will always find me there, and Xeen of course who operates the irc. everybody has opinions and we cannot criticise anynone, after all this is a community.

Everybody also have levels of the line of gettin pissed. Grape crossed that line for Xeen, and Xeen crossed that line for grape. I might cross the line for someone and vice versa.

Yes, i figured he was trolling, but didn't know he has been around a while. I still liked the opportunity to meantion the two versions of the FX5200; the one that sucks and the one that sucks worse. I bought the better 😱 of the two refurbed from Newegg just for some benching fun.

Anyway, nice to know I have such expereinced buddies looking out for mr. noob here. Thanks again.

You might have been a bit too angry over a few posts of his, but hey, anyone who has the time to provide people with so much help and even watch over the forum while I'm away doing the OTHER forum by the arse, should be forgiven for occasional loss of patience. I mean you DO put up each day with it all! And you write so much too. Man, remember there was a time I believe I challenged you for the longest post? :lol:
I used to write a lot, but bah, tis ok, you're doing a bang-up job giving good details to good arguments and helping out.
IMO, reasons to ban would be drastic, as in last resorts: a lot of racist remarks, very degrading remarks, spamming in a topic-specific forum (except in OTHER hehe), posting pointless posts constantly, etc. Basically stuff where it goes really out of control.

While I can't speak for Fredi, most of the bans that have happened in the past, happened because of the above reasons. And Fredi's a VERY forgiving and patient mod and webmaster. Ya gotta give him credit to handle ALL THG and THGC, at once. Making the site, updating it, AND moderating the forums. Reasons to ban someone are quite extreme and often not very clear, just like reasons to get a custom title, hehe!

So personally, you're far from any ban-worthy reasons, let alone anyone not as regular as you to try to get you banned for the wrong reasons. I dislike a few people on THGC, but not enough to ask for a ban. I know it is only necessary in the most drastic times.

So anyway, just because you lost your temper, which I think is normal to happen in some rare times, "working" all the time in this forum (

), doesn't in any way give incentive for a ban unless you had really gone kooky and used the most low blows possible, which I doubt you'd do.

Ok, so it wasn't you; but do you know how to cure it? I tried Windex, and it did nothing but make it sting more!

He's unjustly complaining about something this forum has done for as long as I've read it (18+ months...and I know it has been done longer than that, too). He's a low-post peon; if he doesn't like the way the forums conduct *themselves* here, the door is wide open for him to leave.

He was simply stateing perhaps the thread should return to its original state. I personally dont see anything wrong with that.

I really don't either in most cases, but new threads were already started in a continuation of this one and those fizzled quickly--the topic has been beaten down, nothing more to say...now we just carry the conversation on like we always have. He has to learn that's how things are done here--we aren't like [H] (and like 90% of all others) for good reason: we have more to talk and jest about than our e-penises.

The topic died twice...now it's getting restarted again yet somewhere else, <A HREF="http://forumz.tomshardware.com/hardware/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=416213#416213" target="_new">here</A>. Nobody had anything else to say about it here (or in the other dead thread <A HREF="http://forumz.tomshardware.com/hardware/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=415827#415827" target="_new">here</A>), this thread had moved on and that n00b comes in and (thinking this is like every other forum on the net) tries to act all superior and say that they should get back on topic.

That *may* have been alright if he had some more info to bring to the table, but he didn't. I realize his other post in this thread was to bring it back to what it was originally (in the midst of the entium discussion) but even then NOBODY even took queue to get this back "on topic."

Why he even wanted this to get back on topic is baffling...it had been fully expressed that two cards (in an unavailable setup) were beaten by one with insane (nearly unavailable) cooling.
