\older verithane

I have an older gal of verithane. there was a semi dry coat aprox 1/2 in thick on the top. Cleaned that out, stired it up and coated the bench i am building. This product is no longer clear but tanish. A- Did I mess up using this product & B- if not how long to dry at 70 degrees and 85% humidity? Thanx- CTH
