Original Xbox Live

Hey,

I just recently found this when making a search to see if there was a way I could use Live on my Original Xbox.
Will this still work even though they have closed live?

Just one more question. If this does not work, if there anyway I could get a connection on my original xbox to game over the internet?

I would assume that connecting to the official Xbox Live will be a no go, but I do remember there being something called XLink Kai which was kind of an alternative to Xbox Live. IIRC, it was basically like a LAN party sort of thing. You could connect to other people running this client bypassing Xbox Live. Not sure what you'll find, since the original Xbox platform is pretty well dead at this point, but probably couldn't hurt to take a look.
