i just put my new rig together (ordered the kt4 ultra right before the nforce boards came in *grumble*) complete with a athlon xp 1800 t-bred and 256M of crucial DDR2700. my video card (visiontek xtasy 6564) is already overclocked 220/485 and i had to bump the fsb in the bios to get the T-Bred at the right speed. then i started tinkering. i have the fsb up to 145 with nothing else changed and got the cpu at 1669 (1.49v 11.5multiplier) running at 37C. now whenever i try to go higher with the fsb i get crashes. i figured i need to start messing with the voltage if i want to go any higher but im pretty new at this o'cing stuff. any help? i also have a thermaltake volcano7 fan/heatsink on the cpu. thanks for any help. i alredy checked o'clockers.com and theres just waaaaay to much info to look thru.

well its highly likely that your cpu need more voltage to OC further.
Also with FSB overclocking you may have a PCi or AGP device that doesnt like the elivated speeds.
