So it has been awhile since the announcement of new GTX 1660 Ti and I thought that my old GTX 1060 3G gpu needs to be changed.
I have been looking at benchmarks and other PC builds and all of them were 8th gen CPUs and 1660 Ti builds.
Since I have i5-7500 with me and I have no plans on changing my whole PC from the ground-up. I have no information what it's like to pair i5-7500 with GTX 1660 Ti.
My specs:
CPU: Intel i5-7500
RAM: 8 Gb
GPU: MSI GTX 1060 3gb Gaming X
PSU: Corsair 550W 80+
Motherboard: Asus B250M-K Prime
Games I play: The Witcher 3, DmC 5, Sekiro (when released), Vampyr.

- Does this GPU benefit more from 8th gen CPUs or do I need to go for i7 7th gen?
- Is it a huge bottleneck if I pair-up i5-7500 with GTX 1660 Ti?
