Question Part of screen not clearing, GPU dying?

Recently part of my ultrawide isn't refreshing shortly after launching windows 10, I have to replug the HDMI cable to fix it. Has anyone come across this issue before? it's like windows XP crashing all over again.

Make sure the monitor is being recognised by windows correctly (resolution and refresh rate). Have you installed the latest GFX drivers?
