Is there any reasonable way to bump the partition size of the boot
partition, when it is an XP "Dynamic" drive?

I bought the latest Norton partition commander which sort of forgot to
mention on the box that "Works with XP Pro NTFS partitions" means "but not
with dynamic drives".....

So, my C is still getting cluttered with junk, and now the free space is
getting unmanagably small.

I don't know of any way at all. You could resize with your Norton product
(used to be Partition Magic) if you wanted but it won't let you change a
virtual drive probably. Take some from another drive and merge it with the
drive that's short on space is my only idea. Other posts may follow but
that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

You cannot extend a dynamic disk that is the system or boot volume.

Good luck
