Question PC black screens and GPU fans go crazy

I've had this problem twice in the last week with my Aorus Master 3080. Got the GPU new a few months ago. When I'm playing a game, both my monitors would go black and the GPU fans would ramp up to max speed. I end up having to hold down the power button to shut down the PC. Temperatures are fine, GPU hovers around 60-70c under load, 40c idle. It seems to happen very rarely, and I get no artifacts or any other issues when gaming . Relevant specs below.

Aorus RTX 3080

Ryzen 5800x3d

Aorus b450 pro motherboard

Corsair Rm850x psu

I updated to latest nvidia drivers after the most recent crash.

Sorry, not 100% sure but it could have been 531.61 or 531.41? Maybe even a bit older seeing as I haven't updated in a while. I might be able to verify once I get to my PC.

I figured as much. The entirety of the 531 driver set is horribly broken right now. My advice would be to go to the NVIDIA driver page and download driver 528.49. Do a full clean install, and let me know how it goes.
