Question PC boots with CPU and VGA red light on motherboard

Ryzen 7 3700x
Msi B450
Rtx 3060
Corsair CX 750M
So this all started after i switched the cpu in my system from a 5 5600g to the 7 3700x and when booting i get a red light on the motherboard first for the cpu and then for vga and the system doesn't boot and tries to reboot, however i'm able to go into bios and when i boot from there with the same settings i get into windows without problem. I tried running some stresstests but nothing out of the normal, when i restart the pc the same problem occur and i have to go into bios. Any suggestions on what could be causing this. Please reach out if you have suggestions or need more info on the system

How old is the PSU? Is this the Grey labelled unit or the Green labelled unit?

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard? Speaking of motherboard;

MSI have a number of motherboards with the B450 chipset, which one do you have?

It's probably around 9 years old so it has the grey label
the mobo is the gaming plus version and running version 2.8 ( i installed the latest one just a few months ago)

If it's the grey labelled unit;

you only get 5 years on it. You're on 9 years. That's a sketchy unit to have, nearing a decade, with an RTX3060 in your build.

Is this your motherboard? If so, I don't see BIOS version 2.8 listed there as you say it to be.
