Question PC completely shuts down after launching apex legends

i just recently reinstalled apex legends, and when i try to launch it i play for about 10 seconds, and dont even see the main menu before my pc completely shuts off

full system spec? include brand and model of the psu

is there a way i can check that in my pc? i built this a couple of years ago so i dont really remember

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, 16 GB of ram, geforce rtx 1660, EVGA 850W 80 plus gold. thats all i really see for the psu

driver up do date? bios up to date?
just that game having issue?

yes, and probaby. and yes that is the only game that has ever had that problem. cpu temp is also stable when i am launching it. doesnt spike or anything when it shuts down

try an older gpu driver. could be driver issue

just tested with outdated driver, and still does the same thing

I hate updating bios but i had the same issue as OP except with every game i was playing. updated the bios and now everything seems to be ok . (still a little hotter than i would like but i heard the 5800x3d runs hot
