Question PC Not Turning On From Power Buttons

let's start with my specs Real Quick :
i5 2500k
8gb DDR3 1600mhz
Mobo : Foxconn 2abf
PSU : Advance MPT 5002 (500W)(Non Modular)
the pc was working Okey till yesterday i came to turn on the pc on from power button and nothing happened ( no power at all)


WHAT I HAVE TRIED:
1) I have tried to take the motherboard and everything out of the case

2) Tested PSU with a paper clip and it's running without any issue

3) Took the CMOS battery and everything and tested and still having same issue


WHAT I HAVE NOTICED MAY BE THE PROBLEM
4) I have Unplugged the 24 Pin from the motherboard and kept ONLY the 4pin 12v connected to the motherboard and tried to turn on the psu with a paper clip and then the surprise happened

it turned on ( MOBO only out of pc case, cpu fan spinning and psu , and it didn't shutdown or stopped suddenly until i took the paper clip of the 24 pin)

i have tried to power from the power sw pîns with a metal pen but not working either


what can the problem be ?

could it be the psu causing the problem ?
be advised before the no power problem occured i started facing random shutdowns when using pc , like 2 days before the problem of no power occured

it could be try to see if a friend could help you or you gone have to bring it to a shop for test before getting a new one also what is the age of this psu does it srill under warranty .

The psu i have is used i was using it for about 3-4 Years, no warranty there

i will see if i can get a psu to test .
