Question PC randomly turned off and wont boot back up

Was in the middle of using my pc and it randomly just turned itself off, no blue screen or anything and hasnt been able to turn back on since. The gpu has a light on but pressing the power button stirs no signs of life from it. ill attach the specs if it helps
Motherboard: MSI B450M Mortar Titanium
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
RAM: Team T-Force Delta RGB 3200MHz
GPU: Asus ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB
PSU: Corsair CX750
SSD: CRUCIAL P2 500GB M.2 NVME
HDD: Seagate 1TB 7200RPM

ive tested the psu using paperclip method and it seemed to work, and its getting power to the gpu clearly. also tried shorting the two pins connected to the case power switch with a screwdriver but that resulted in nothing. looking for any ideas before i try anything else
