[SOLVED] Pc recognizes speakers as headphones

Hello my win 7 dell PC is recognizing the speakers as headphones. Everything sounds very low and i cant change them back to the speakers in the sound settings. any idea on what i can do? the only thing that Im thinking of doing is maybe uninstalling and installing the audio drivers back ? any help would be appreciated

Have you tried unplugging them from the rear jack, waiting a few seconds, and then plugging them back in? It might ask you what you just plugged in and then you can say speakers.
