Hello all, I'm new here,

So today theres a loud thunder strike near my house, the power went down for like 2 sec following that, my pc able to funcion at that time properly, but my ethernet cable doesnt work, which is fine at that time cause i thought my router might be having some issues (the wifi also chugging), i already called my ISP CS and they're sending someone to check,
but im curious and try to check the ethernet port to see if its fried or something, theres a yellow light on the ethernet port which i dont think was there before, since my pc is facing a wall, a bit hard to see, im planning to move it on my other table, so i unpluged everything, turn off the PSU, unplug the power cable, when i plug it back in, it wont turn on

weird things happen before this though, when i try to shutdown my pc before i unplugged everything, the monitor is already turn off (not receiving any signal) but the pc still wont turn off, i wait for a while, all lights and fan still on, so i hold the power button down

i read abit and did the jumpstart method, using paper clip, i unplugged all the psu connector to the motherboard and hard drive, except for cassing fan and processor, psu able to turn on (fan), the cassing fan and LED also turn on but thats it, the processor cooler doesnt spin and LED still off (not sure if this is normal)

when i plug the 24 pin back to the motherboard, it wont turn on, i also try to touch both power button pins to turn it on, still nothing.

is there any way to salvage this?

is there any other methods i could do to find the root cause of this?
Test you did with PSU means very little aside showing some signs of life and working fan. It's first thing to die with power surge. Hopefully it prevented further damage if it was some good unit. It may look simple but it's complicated piece of equipment and everything depends on it.
