Hi all. Thanks in advance for any help. I am looking to purchase a new gaming PC and am willing to spend up to $3k or so, if needed. I've been considering Meta PC and Cyberpower PC. I've heard Meta PC can be a bit expensive, but not sure.

Would you all be willing to help me build a gaming PC that can handle the modern games and such? I'd like a lot of RAM too, as I work from home and do a lot of multitasking. I'd also like a motherboard that supports a good amount of USB connections and would like wifi and Bluetooth capability, if possible.

For instance, is this good? META PATHFINDER78 BLACK Looks like it comes with everything except the graphics card. It mentions that the ASUS TUF Gaming X870-PLUS WIFI is 'Pre-Wired with 12 pin for Any 50 Series,' so I'd just have to purchase a RTX 5080 or 5090. Not sure what the current prices are on those graphics cards.

Those parts total to $1400-1500 dollars if you went for higher end stuff.

So no, not a great deal.

5090 is around $3500 right now.
5080 is around $1300-1400 right now
5070 Ti is around $900 as are 9070 XT, though they do dip down to $700 from time to time.
5070 are shockingly available at around MSRP, $600 or so. 9070 are also sticking around the $600-700 range.

A better option might be the Meta PC Meta Frostblade Meta Frostblade, which comes with a AMD RADEON RX 9070 XT Steel Legend already installed.

Would this fit the bill? Does it look overpriced or anything?
Overpriced, by like $1000.

Is the AMD RADEON RX 9070 XT Steel Legend card comparable to a 5080 or 5090?
No. The latter two are faster. The 5080 by a bit, the 5090 by allot. The 9700XT looks like a fine card. Probably good for QHD (2560x1440) or WQHD (3440x1440) What resolution do you plan to be gaming at. For 4K or high refresh rate monitors (240hz+) - the 5900 is better. It depends on the game, but this is more future proof.

Anyway, your $$s - chose as you will. None of those are bad GFX cards.

If you're running Linux then the 9070 XT is a great choice, otherwise the 5070 Ti runs cooler, uses less power and gets more frames per second on average.

5070ti is like 3-4% faster, on average, but looking at current pricing, of the two cheapest of each, I wouldn't do a 5070ti. Couple that with the terrible driver issues Nvidia has had as of late.

The 9070 xt is perfectly able to handle 4k.

Of course the 5090 is better, it's the most powerful gaming GPU on the market, but you don't need that to enjoy 4k gaming. I know that because I have been playing at 4k for two years with a 4080, which is pretty much the equivalent of the 9070 xt.

Well, OF TOPIC, but....

Depends of what sort of frame rate and graphic quality you are comfortable with. I prefer a min of 144 Hz with High gfx quality. For shooters. That's a bridge too far on newer games at 4k (so, it's WQHD for me for a while). If I see a newer game made with Unreal Engine 5, I get the yips. Beautiful looking, but generally terrible perfs.

So, what are your thoughts on the Meta Vanhelen? Is it too overpriced? Which of the PCs I linked would you go for if you were me?

META VANHELEN
Big time overpriced. My suggestion is if you don't want to build it yourself, order the components and take them to a local PC / laptop repair shop and have them build it for you for a fee. This way you know exactly what you're getting.
