Not really talking the larger 4-player cabinets, or the cockpit ones.
Talking about the Single player or Two player Up-Right machines. So
far, the heaviest one I've owned is a Galaxy Ranger Cabinet. This
thing has to weight over 400+ lbs. Good thing it has wheels in the
back of it.

Steel gunner 2, Virtua cop 2, Upright DOT, MK cabinet.
In that order.
Those are the heaviest, reg cabs I've had.
Gun games are a pain, they come with 4 wheels there so heavy.

Troy,

I'd have to say Spy Hunter. That thing is a BEAR to move--even though
it has wheels on the back! When I did my recent garage arcade
renovation, I had to move all of my games across the street to my
neighbor's house, so it's still fresh in my mind. Venture is no picnic
either, but that's more about the shape of the cab--kind of awkward on
the hand truck.

I had a Mechanized Attack once that nearly gave me a hernia moving it.

Out of my current collection of UR, the dual monitor Playchoice 10 is
the worst machine to try and move around in the garage. If you search
my older posts, you'll find that this thing almost took me out when I
picked it up (luckily, I just dislocated my thumb). It is more of an
"awkward heavy", what with being extremely top heavy compared to
the typical upright.

I heaviest I've moved was a Power Drift. I believe the flyer says that it
tips the scale around 350 pounds.

NO wheels in the back and the weight balance is very poor due to the floor
for the gas pedal. I'll bet that an Outrun and a Turbo Outrun cabinet are
the same monsters.

I've been wondering about the Gauntlet Legends Machine. Will that Fit
through a normal doorway? But yea...that Galaxy Ranger I have is made
of some really solid wood...And that LD player in it is the original,
and we all know how big those damn things where back then. Remember
VCRs in the early 80's...lol.

Although a three player, the Super OffRoad upright is very heavy and large.

Starship 1. Won't fit through a standard door either. Huge BW monitor,
metal yoke and CP, Molded front. Well over 300 lbs.

I know this thread is for UR's, but the heaviest game I've moved using
a dolly is a Race Driv'in Cockpit from a basement, all 750 lbs of it!

Lucky for us it was a walk-out.

Un-lucky for us the sideyard was steep and freshly sodded. When we got
it through the gate the dolly hit a soft spot and sunk. After resting
for a few minutes we went to lift it again and the dolly was totally
submerged in the mud since it was lying flat on the ground with the
game atop it.

Worst game move evar!

Try a Virtua Racing UR, the monster weighs some.. It has all the force
feedback wheel too, I think it is 550lbs if I recall.

Sega's Star Wars Trilogy UR is a bitch. Tron is a monster too.

I know you said no 4 player games but Oh my god is my Golden tee heavy and
big. It lives in the garage because there's no way it's going down the
stairs and turning on the tri angle landing 3 steps down with a short
ceiling height at the turn.

anyway my dynamo hs-9 25" 2 player with cut corner control panel was a bear
to get in the basement (I took out the monitor and removed the control panel
and drawer just to reduce the weight.

I did the same on my Power Drift to get it down there also.

I think a Lazer Ghost has it beat... the damn thing is near 40" wide and,
even with the front bump-out removed is about 40" thick...

I had to take the CP off (which itself is about 60 lbs), take the front coin
box/CP support off, remove the monitor (didn't measure but is at least 25")
and the thing was STILL over 300 pounds. My buddy and I had to turn it on
it's side, and rotate it in the door frame (no individual part is itself
larger then 34", but the top projects over the CP and slopes to the back so
the combined distances are over 40") to get it into the basement.

Getting this into the basement was about 2-3x as much work as my Indy twin
(I only had to build a small ramp for that..).

Sub Roc 3-D is super heavy, and Astron Belt is deceptively heavy.
