Power LED Problem

Hi, i've built my pc myself using MSI KT4V motherboard, athlon xp 2200, with 512MB DDR RAM. And the sound card was built in.

I'm not sure whether i've installed everything properly. So my problem is this:

Whenever my system powers on, i can't get the power LED to blink according to application progress.

How do i fix this problem?

Generally the power LED shouldn't blink, it should just stay on, could you possibly be referring to the Hard Drive LED?
