Hello all. My pc is very old and I can not buy a new one right now. I’m gonna get married soon, so there is no room for additional expense. Pc was working okay, until one day I turned on, it went on power saving mode. I tried everything below. Please inform if anything I’m missing or any suggestions. It is very annoying to have this problem in quarantine.
  1. Tried another monitor with another cable, same result.
  2. Removed Gpu and hooked it up on mobo as on board, same result.

  1. Removed Ram, tried with another ram on both slots, sane result.
  2. Removed bios battery, switched cmos jumpers. Same result.
  3. Changed bios battery with even older pc’s battery. Same result.
  4. Removed bios battery without putting it back and turned it on, same result.
  5. Removed cpu, blow the dust, inserted again. Same result.
  6. Removed psu’s cables, reattached. Same result. Please help if any suggestions.
I only think of maybe mobo is got thrashed or CPU.

I have very old spare psu. The one I have with this pc is as below.

And the old one is as below. pasteboard.co/J9ZOR5Z.jpg

I can try it with old one to check if problem is psu, but will it fry my system completely?
