What is considered too low a power supply? I want to upgrade but want to make sure I have enough power. I currently have a 350watt running what is listed below. I want to add a DVD burner, an IDE card in the future, and 1 GB of XMS memory (2x512).

A7N8X - Deluxe
1.4 Athlon XP
512DDR Memory (2x256)
Hard Drives - 80 7200rpm, 40 7200 RPM
DVD-Rom
CDRW
floppy
ATI Radeon 9600XT
Wireless USB Mouse
USB game controller

You can run the calculations <A HREF="http://www.jscustompcs.com/power_supply/" target="_new">here. </A>

Just keep in mind to also consider how many of your devices will be running at once.

good advise -go for a quality name brand of 350 watts or better. Off brands often lie about the true output power. I had a Solar max PSU that claimed to be 350w. Adding the current ratings and calculating the true power turned out to be only 200 watts. I recommend an Enermax PSU as one of the better brands.
