Recently i upgraded my pc with r5 7600 asrock b650 32gb ram and when i use the gpu on the main PCI slot the card either freeze or black screen crash restart repeat and i cant even boot,put it on the second PCI slot which is x4 and it runs(btw this is with old PSU and the new one).I found the setting in the bios to reduce the lanes on the main slot from x16 to x8 and again it runs now it just crashes randomly after hours or less.So is this my GPU problem or the pci slot,also someone said to me that this cpu pushes hard this gpu and maybe that's why it crashes with so many lanes.I bought the gpu llast year from used market but it runs on my old pc.Even if i run benchmarks and so on there is no problem no heat at all?
At least on x8 when crashes the screen goes black and the restarts and it runs...on x16 just crash after 10 15 seconds for 1 2 restarts even in the BIOS and then the pc cant even boot.Dont have this problem on the IGPU.
