Problem with my cooler master atcs 840 case or mobo

hello

my case is working fine, but i have a problem. when i press "power button" my case's blue led turn on for 3 seconds then switches off, then turns back on. and then everything works fine.

q: are you experiencing the same problem?


q: could this also be my motherboard problem meaning thats the way my motherboard works? my motherboard is gigabyte ep45 ud3p



q: also with the cables how do i know which side is positive and which is negative? for example "power switch = from case" where it has two pin connectors and on the right hand side it says "g" and on the left it says "s"

what does "s" mean? "g" means ground yeah? and ground means negative yeah?

i know for sure i have a sufficient power supply unit..... i have a 1000w psu and i only use right now:

1 hdd, video card, core 2 duo, 1 optical drive.

I have the same issue on an ASUS p5k and I believe it is related to the motherboards bios recovery protection. As for the power switch it doesn't matter how it is connected ( switches are not single direction ) only the leds care which way they are connected.
