problems writing over xvid.ax

I am trying to install video codecs. During installation, the message "error
deleting xvid.ax" comes up. I have checked up the xvid website and they say i
must figure out how to undo the 'read file only' setting or manually delete
the file. Can anyone help me?

Hey Cherry.
I just had the same problem and got around it by going C.Program
Files.Windows.System32, scroll down to Xvid.ax , highlight it and click
on "Move to" and send it to another location, My Music, My Pictures,
anywhere really.
Once it's out of the system 32 folder,you can click on it and send it
to the recycle bin, then go ahead and install Xvid.
