I have a Proliant DL380 G7 which at boot makes this weird sound a bit similar to a fax machine ( seems to be something like two long beeps but to be honest, they don't sound like beeps, and there are no errors on post at all.
Post runs perfectly and the server starts up normally.
I can surely tell that the regular beeps are "working" when intentionally I misconfigure its RAM and the error beeps come when booting the server.
Any out there has experienced this situation before? Thanks

Hello SamirD.
Yes, the sound is coming from underneath the area where the power supplies are.
I just got to work on another of these servers and it's doing the same sound when it's starting up so I'm assuming this is normal behavior.
I removed drives and that beep (sound) comes right after the Thermal and Power Calibration phase is being showed on the screen.
