[SOLVED] PSU died, getting opinions about best budget PSU to get

Hi my corsair VS550 seems to be dead .
My buid is :
MSI a88xm-e35
AMD a8 6600k
AMD XFX RX 580 4gb
Corsair XMS3 4+4gb RAM

so what is the best budget PSu to get to replace my dead PSU ?
I have this two in mind :
Seasonic S12II 520W
Seasonic M12II Evo Edition 520W Full Modular

there´s anything better ?
I am planning to don´t get anything more than 60 euros what is about 66USD

First, check if your PSU still has warranty. If it does, RMA it and be done.

For replacements, the SeaSonic s12/m12 PSUs are ancient in design and I wouldn't advise buying the. A Corsair CX550 would be a good replacement.

For around 60 euro the seasonic s12ii or m12ii, 520 or 620W are decent options. Or get the Corsair CX550 (not the -M version).

The TX650M for 81 euro would be a very good option too if you can fit it in your budget.

A professional review.

That PSU is based on an ancient platform and is group regulated.

Basically it share design elements to an average PSU from a decade ago.

Because it's an old, poor quality PSU with an RGB fan slapped into it.

You should go seek out some PSU reviews and you'll see how PSUs are much more than wattage and efficiency.

In fact, you may find that many times, the wattage stated on the label is a LIE and that the efficiency badge is a FAKE.

Unfortunately, there's a lot of crimes committed in the PSU industry, but nobody is held accountable.
