I have nothing fancy system wise just a 3500+, dvd burner, a8v deluxe mb and 1 gig of ram and stock cooling.

I have read all over and cannot find a solid answer. I know from the reviews the power supply has issues for a lot of people but I have had mine for over a year with zero problems so far so if I can stick with it I'd rather do that for now. Amps on the 12v rail thing are confusing me. Some people say it has to be on a single rail and some say it can be across two rails. The psu I listed has 500 watts and 19a & 17a 12 volt rails.

Thanks

I didn't see much to like about that PSU just from the Quality ratings. Too many folks having probs. Frankly ANTEC makes much better cases than PSU's. Go back into newegg and look up a PSU from 550 to 600W. Seasonic, Xclio GreatPower, Enermax are all there pick one.
