i have also put in a new cpu (amd opteron 170, dual core 2.0ghz and another 1gig stick of ram) but i have the removed at the moment well i try to figure out why my system is so unstable.
now my question is if my PSU is good enough to support the system. or if it could simply have gone bad from putting in the new graphcis card that demands alot more power. it is a Viotek 550w ATX The +3.3V rail is 35A, +5V rail is 55A, -5V rail is 0.3A, +12V rail is 18A, -12V rail is 0.8A, +5Vsb rail is 2A. Connectors: One 20 pin ATX main power cable, one 4 pin ATX +12V power cable, five 4 pin peripheral cables, two floppy drive power cables and one 6 pin auxiliary power cable
i have all the latest bio and chip set drivers as well as the nivdia drivers installed. iv done 3 full reformat/reinstalls of the os and still when i try to run a game the system shuts off
im monitoring my system with asus AI booster and these are the voltages i get
CPU: 1.41v
Memory: 2.60v
PCIE 3.33v
btw have have put in my old card (radeon 1300x) and it shut off same at WoW load
