I'm thinking to upgrade my CPU, but I'm not sure what to choose. I have RTX 4060, AM4 Motherboard and 16 GB of 3200mhz RAM. I was thinking about the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, but is it worth waiting more and get the Ryzen 7 5700X?

Thanks in advance!

If you can afford it and find one in stock, get the X3D SKU's, like the 57000X3D or 5800X3D. It'll be a worthwhile upgrade if they're not the same price as an Ryzen 5 7600 processor.

I have RTX 4060, AM4 Motherboard and 16 GB of 3200mhz RAM.
Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

How much have you allocated towards your processor upgrade? Where are you located? What is your preferred site for purchase?

what is the problem with the 4500, it doesn't work well?a 5600 with the 4500 you have doesn't have big differences and the motherboard you have isn't the best there is, you probably have it for games
The problem with my Ryzen 5 4500 is that, in the games I play, the cpu goes full 80-100% and my gpu is standing at 40%. Even in games where the gpu should be working more. A friend of mine has almost the same configuration, but he has a Ryzen 7 5700X, and he is getting 100-120 fps more than me in the same games.

More information needed:

What is the intended use for the system and what components are you planning to install?

Budget?
The budget is maximum 150 euros/dollars, I plan to install a Ryzen 7 5700x and rtx 4060 . I buy it becouse it looks great I like the Bios very much , has pci-e 4.0 and zen 3 support.

650W is the advertised wattage of any PSU you're looking at. What is the make and model of the PSU you're looking to purchase for your build?

Speaking of which, for the RTX4060, you should be fine with a reliably built 650W PSU but please keep in mind that advertised wattage and actual output wattage can and will vary when you pick a no-name PSU. To add, please don't invest in used PSU's as there are a number of people who show up asking if an used PSU would be fine for purchase.

Internal wear and tear will happen in a PSU and an used PSU will output less than what it will than when it was brand new.

If you need us to pick out a PSU for your build, you will need to mention;
1| where you're located?
2| what your budget for the PSU is?
3| you're preferred site for purchase?
