I agree with you, I can also reach that conclusion by myself...
BUT,

.... but the list can also been moved, misplaced, or I'm wrong at looking it .

Say it ! No doubt left !

Cough.

So, you need to rethink this. It's not like this list was some official part of Tom's hardware, maintained by staff and sanctioned by the powers that be. This was a privately created user member list, maintained by that person and in no way controlled by the moderation team, staff or the site in general. What you're asking is like asking General motors to personally go into some town somewhere and force some vehicle owner to get a tune up when they don't want to. Or to drag their car to the car crusher because it's sitting in the driveway.

I said not THAT bad. 😀

It's tolerable as a rough reference.

Might as well be a solid 3 now, not for build, that's still a good psu, but it's group regulated so it's outputs are solidly mediocre compared to other dc-dc designs in the same range like Corsair CXM etc.

Just about anything made by Seasonic is good quality for the most part. There are really no bad Seasonic units and only a very few that are even somewhat mediocre. They do make a few less-good quality OEM style units, but mostly those are not going to be units you come across at most vendors, and they are still not bad. Also, the S12II and M12II 520 and 620w units are older, group regulated models.

At one time they were among the best units you could buy. Now, they are outdated and not as good as almost any other Seasonic models. They are however still better than a LOT of newer designs by other manufacturers.

I used a Techquickie video (made by LINUS) on my now closed Internet discussion about why the internet goes out randomly. It could've been that 1) the video was from 2014, and 2) Linus is from Canada, where things could be different, but I'm pretty sure it might've just been Linus.

Still like his channel though.

There is nothing about Linus that is likable to me. His tech is usually far fetched or just plain wrong. And in person, he's a real asshat as exemplified by his behavior at several of the major tech shows where people we know through Tom's Hardware had the express displeasure of meeting him personally and seeing firsthand his antics and behavior. IMO, he's toxic and an idiot.

I used to think Linus was OK bug then I watched a video about him submerging a functional pc in a fishtank type specialty case full of mineral oil. $10k price tag for an absolute mess, impossible to move pc that'd only cost @$1500 back then. Just for the wow factor cuz it definitely does not serve any other purpose. Try getting mineral oil out of the carpet if that thing ever sprung a leak... Total waste of time imho. Lost all credibility (what little was left after lookin at his psu list).

That's not even that creative. Toms did this WAY back in 2006:

Unfortunately looks like the original article lost the images. Was back when TH used to do unique things. Such as the classic pull the fan off while running Quake and watch CPUs start to smoke test.

I had a Storm enforcer, which of course I had to extensively modify to conform to my needs. For it's time though, it was a pretty decent case. I still have it and will likely use it again when I get around to redoing my shop system. Other than a very few case designs though, I've never seen a CM product that actually made me think I needed to have it, or could settle for it, against much better options.

The Storm enforcer case I only bought because I got it for half price on a day when I really needed a new case, and the local shop I got it from was going out of business. It was a good buy in that scenario. Normally, I'd have gone a different way.

I have only had one case. My current Crystal 570X. Its just too pretty of a design and I like removing the 5.25" bays in favor of a third fan (and triple rad support). Other than that most cases were just to suit the build. I liked my 500R as it had great wire management. My Xaser II was a nice big case.

Will probably keep the 570X for some time to come. Especially since I can just order a replacement for the top to migrate to Type-C if needed.
