Nope.

I am getting Ultimate.

sucks that they dont offer the "specials" in the states.

oh well, I wait until OEM comes out.

Ordered it, i'm still using XP so Windows7 looks pretty good. The beta actually was more stable than any prior Microsoft OS that i have ever used. Oh yeah, i went with professional.

Ordered 3 copies ($65 CAD+tax/copy here in Canada). But then found out about the family pack, which is bit cheaper. Too late for that now. Way to go MS.

Yeah. The first day it was listed for sale on Newegg. I ordered 2 copies of Home Premium and 1 of Pro. I have been using it since the early revision of beta and wont turn back. All this talk about people having problems is beacuse they dont have decent hardware. Im running a setup thats almost 2 years old now without a single problem. If you check out the newegg reviews alot of people complain that current hardware isnt supported. Boards like the Asus Rampage 2 which i cant see being a problem. I have a Asus Crosshair with a NVidia 590 SLI chipset. Win 7 installs in 9 minutes from the second i press the power button to a useable desktop.

My Full specs are
Asus Crosshair 1
Athlon 64 X2 6400+
4gb Corsair 1066 Dominator
2 x 300gb Velociraptors in raid
2 x WD 2tb hard drives in raid
2 x 275GTX in sli
Rocketfish Full Tower ((( GREATEST CASE EVER MADE )))
LG sata dvd burner
Thermaltake 850watt Tough Power PS

Nope. Wen there Staurday after I got off work and it was all gone. Guess it ended early Saturday thus I will wait for the OEM that will probably be cheaper than the Upgrade since its only for one version (32bit or 64bit).

haha, toms doesnt like software pirates. BOO HOO.

get over it. i buy software when its reasonably priced. which it almost never is. a game, which has EXTREME overhead costs 60 bucks. but a program is at least 100. AT LEAST. not one red cent of mine will they see. not one!!!!! and you can all suck on it. ps, feel free to buy your overpriced software, it makes getting it for free that much easier. suckers.

So true... it's kinda weird, people actually paying for Microshit stuff. I went through the comments and clicked on 'show' for every hidden comment and thumbed them up. Why? They all encouraged P2P :)

Now I'll get like -5728 thumbs... ah well, just like MS, I like to set records too :)

I am not really sure why you would want an upgrade. I'll wait until 7 is well established and it's SP1 is old news before buying a full install disc. I'm using RC1 and it is not really special at all.

Nope. I'm happy with the RC for now. Absolutely no problems to speak of; plus the pre-order discount wasn't good for the version I wanted.

Preordered Home Premium. I wasn't planning on getting Win 7, I'm ok with XP. But the price was great, and the RC ran pretty well. I also wanted to move to x64 to use the 4 GB of memory I have.
I hate to give my money to MS, but I hate PCs with pirated Windows versions.

Oh, and I really really wanted to have the Windows Exprerience Intex to assess my system's performance!
lol

Other thoughts: hope the upgrade works with OEM XP home edition...

Yep, I pre ordered pro. I've been using the Windows 7 RC for a while now and like the way it works. My only complaint so far is the Creative drivers for my sound card kept having to be reinstalled up untill the latest drivers were released.

Yes, I haven't bought an OS since XP and I figured that 8 years was about time.

Seriously guys, XP is like ancient times garbage now. Sure it works, but its like that homely girl in the bar.

(FWIW, I've had Vista since its release, but that was thanks to work)

hell no...waiting for it to arrive at colleges that are microsoft sponsored...paid $30 for vista ultimate and plan on paying just as much for windows 7...

I got the upgrade for my xp machines... could not beat the price / value. I think MS is finally understanding what it needs to do to be competitive in todays OS market... though the new google OS might just make all others irrelevant in a near future..!

I missed the deadline while debating whether or not to wait for a potential university student pricing later on...I guess now I gotta wait for the university pricing after all.

Maybe for my gaming rig, I'll keep it Vista 32bit for the forseeable future if a family pack upgrade is too expensive.

Yes, Pre-ordered Win7 Pro.

I'm running XP Pro and Win7 RC (Build 7100) dual boot since release. So far I've only had a minor issue with Fallout 3 freezing on exit and the sound driver with Win7 did not work with my card. I had to grab the Vista driver for my Auzentech Forte. I also tried using another ICH10R driver (may have been Vista 64 version) and that went... poorly.
So far performance seems similar to XP for gaming, etc., though I've not benched it yet. Boot times are much improved and the interface is more responsive. Part of my performance increase may be attributable to the OS being able to use all 8 gigs of RAM.
Stability is excellent even OC'd while stressing the CPU with Prime95 and the GPU with Furmark.
RealTemp & Rivatuner 2.24 function as desired as does the GPU monitor 2.0 gadget.
