0$, about how much I payed for my Ipod (I won a superbowl contest). I'd use it to play some games, maybe, but thats about it. I already have a laptop. What I need at this point is a good desktop.

We Europeans always get screwed. I expect that the I-pad will magically become between 500 and 800 euro's once it crosses the Atlantic. If it were to be between 371 and 594 euro's than I would find that a reasonable price. But I expect that we will get screwed again, so I probably won't buy it because it will be between 673 and 1077 dollars in Europe.

This is the story of our lives, sigh....

[citation][nom]tayb[/nom]I'm laughing at you guys saying you wouldn't pay a dime for it, wouldn't pick it up if it was laying on the ground for free, and would probably trash it if it was given to you. Who do you think you're kidding? Seriously. There is no way any of you actually do any of what you are claiming that you would and if you actually did you would be an idiot. There's no way you'd trash a $500+ piece of equipment, no way you'd walk right past a free iPad. No way. Wow some of you guys are delusional. Can't even answer a simple question straight without reverting into MS fanboy mode.[/citation]
Some of us arent MS fanboys. Maybe were linux fanboys? Or maybe were just NOT fanboys of proprietized hardware and software made by a company headed by someone so hotheaded and arrogant as lord Jobs, or perhaps we just dont like the unethical practices of apple itself...? just a thought...

wouldn't buy it. if given it, i'd sell it too (i think a few have said this already)

a reasonable price SHOULD i want one, would be around 150-250 depending on size, 3g, etc. but i don't want one. :)

i agree.. shouldn't exceed netbook range. i already love my netbooks.

[citation][nom]jblack[/nom]$200. If you get much higher it is in the netbook range.[/citation]

True. Why pay more than a netbook for something that can do less??

$200-350

When I first got my iPod Touch I thought it was the coolest device ever. Now I hate touch typing, touch based apps as accidentally touching the screen screws everything up making it poor even as a calculator for groceries, and touch-motion gaming.

The ONLY thing I would use this for is an auto-pc in my Mustang. Perfect for a dash mount jukebox, video/youtube player, GPS, and quick limited browsing.
