Question about Default music/video player

I am a noob when it comes to this. I am trying to change my default audio/video player in Windows XP Home Edition. Does anyone know the trick to change it and keep it that application you want for the default?

Go to "Add or Remove Programs" on the control panel and then select "Set Program Access and Defaults" on the left side.

thanks alot dude, doesnt give me as many options as i hoped but i will take it. heh
