Radeon HD 6570 GDDR5 vs. DDR3

I'm going to get a Radeon HD 6570, which comes with either a GDDR5 or DDR3 memory. The GDDR5 costs an extra $30. Is it worth it? And is the overall performance of a GDDR5 card a lot better than DDR3?

Yes GDDR5 is better than DDR3 . Get the GDDR5 one.

The specs are: 28.8 GB/s (DDR3) or 64 GB/s (GDDR5) memory bandwidth

the gddr5 has a significant amount of power added to it, hence the 30$ price tag

um in spec yes ddr5 is better than ddr3, but 6570 means low end card i'm kindda hard to recommend 30$ price jump....

how much the card priced? if it 30% increace in price not always means 30% increace of performance, except money is not the issue than get the ddr5 one or even better card

Get 6770 instead . More powerful than 6750 .

Of course DDR5 version is better than DDR3. But why don't you tell us your FULL specs here also your budget, maybe we could find the most suitable card for your need...
