Raid Cards...

hey all... this is a great and informative site, so i thought that i would sign up and post my question on here...


i have a p4c-800 deluxe motherboard, 2 gig of ram, 2 10,000 rpm raptors, nvidia 5950, and a 2.4 p4

i would like to know what would be the best sata raid card to buy so i can add another 1 maybe 2 raptors stripped for pure speed.... i do animations with maya and im a gamer. thanks

If you are using Windows 2000 or XP. The operating system supports software RAID. It free and the performence is pretty good too.

I have Xp (sorry i didnt put it in the first post
I have never done software raid before, how well does it stak up against the cards?
