Question RAM ddr4 3200mhz (for AMD) is good on intel cpu?

Hello everyone,

I got this PC:
HP Victus 15L TG02-0037np

And i got this new RAM kit:
G.Skill F4-3200C16D-32GTZR
https://www.gskill.com/product/165/166/1536654621/F4-3200C16D-32GTZR

My question is that the ram says that is FOR AMD.
It will work with the Intel 12400F CPU?

At the worst it will run at JEDEC standard timings. Try it. Once you have seen it running, reboot and enter bios. Turn on XMP and see if it will post and boot windows.

Depending on timing subtleties it may be less stable though that’s doubtful. If you have just bought the memory from a retailer you could try returning it for a refund/swap.

Why do you think that ram is for amd?

For Intel it requires XMP , for AMD systems either XMP or EXPO which exists only in Intel based systems.
The one you linked has XMP 2.0 support only so it's good for Intel and AMD.
