HI,
I have a MSI MPG X570, Ryzen 3600 and 16GB of 3200Mhz G.Skill RAM (f4-3200C16D-16GTZR). The RAM defaulted to 1600Mhz when I installed it. I changed the RAM frequency in my bios to 3200 but when i open CPU-Z it has it back at 1600. If i go back and check bios it states it's at 3200? not sure if i've left a setting on or something thats overwriting it. Any help would be appreciated.

Solution
Yes - WOW.
It's DDR ram - Double Data Rate. Data gets transferred 2x per clock cycle. This applies to DDR, DDR2, DDR3, DDR4 technology.
Four your ram actual frequency is 1600mhz (this is reported by CPU-Z),
but because of DDR - effective frequency is 2 times as much (3200mhz).
