Hi, recently I've realised I've not been running my RAM in dual channel and missing out on some FPS. I've proceeded to try and put my RAM sticks in 2 and 4 (tried 1 and 3 too) but my PC would not post at all. From there, here's what I tried:
  • Testing each RAM stick by itself in each slot, only 3 and 4 is functional with both RAM sticks
  • Checking for debris on the slot but nothing was there
  • Resetting CMOS battery twice
  • Updating BIOS
Is there anything else I can try before deeming those slots completely dead?

For reference:
  • Motherboard: Prime B250 Plus
  • RAM: 2x4 DDR4 2400mhz Kingston Fury

have you tried memtest as well?
Memtest tests for RAM issues and not slots and as far as I know my RAM is perfectly fine, however i'll run it later just to be sure

Slots 3 and 4 u refer to B1- B2 ? According to ur manual channel A is A1-A2 and channel B is B1-B2 View: https://imgur.com/a/u0eCqrm
I was referring to slots 1 & 2 which are the A channel slots according to this, both don't recognise RAM so i'm unable to run dual channel
