Hello everybody. So I have sent my computer to a relative who is a technician, and as it turns out, my machine indeed crashed due to one of the two 32GB 2666MHz DDR4 RAM sticks dying.

He tested his PC's own RAM on my motherboard and it came back to life.

But this is disconcerting: He also tested my other 32GB stick in his PC, and... IT WORKED (on his computer).

However, according to him, even though that second 32GB RAM stick is working, my motherboard will no longer POST with it.

And it doesn't look like an issue with my mobo itself, as my relative's Kingston Fury Beast 2400MHz kit works fine on it.

He even attempted to downgrade the UEFI/BIOS to an earlier version to see if it was some sort of compatibility issue... but no go.

Could this mean my other stick is also on its way to failing? And If I somehow manage to get the computer to POST with it, I'll have another one of those hard crashes?

Full system specs:

Intel Core i5-11400 CPU;
MSI B560M-A PRO mobo;
Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB GDDR6 graphics card;
Kingston Fury Renegade 500GB PCIe Gen4x4 M.2 NVMe SSD;
64GB (or 32, since the other stick went kaput) DDR4 2666MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX paired kit;
Corsair CS850M 850W 80-Plus Gold PSU bought in late 2017.

My relative said he tested the power supply and its working fine. So, doesn't appear to be a PSU-related problem.

EDIT: Solved. Motherboard came back to life using this ram stick which is still good.
Unfortunately the other one is dead.

Check cpu socket for bent/broken pins.
Will check again today when my computer arrives just to make sure. But I did check the CPU socket and the CPU pads one day after the PC crashed, they were all apparently fine.

Wouldn't bent or broken/absent socket pins cause the mobo to refuse posting with any type of RAM?
