[SOLVED] Random Ping Spikes

Hi ive had this issue for about 2 weeks now, ive tried using usb tethering, wifi, 4g router anything really, and i still get these random ping spikes, which leads me to think that its something wrong with the pc, but i have no clue what it could be. Can anyone help?

Have you tried a ethernet cable. It is very common to get ping spikes on wifi.

oh yeah i forgot to mention that too, ive tried an ethernet cable too

What IP where you pinging. Does it show spikes to the router IP. What about 8.8.8.8.

Did you even try to google search for the ping command.

Oh ive tried pining 8.8.8.8, just forgot waht it is, it showed stable 36 ms and occasional 150 or over

A spike to 150 will in general not have much affect on anything unless you get a real lot of them.

Try a tracert to 8.8.8.8 and then ping hop 2 to start. This is the connection between your house and the router.
