Hey everyone I wonder if you can solve a problem I am facing and thank you for giving me your time.
Onto the problem, I have a Razer Blackshark V2 Usb headset and its mic doesn't work. I have a laptop which headset works fine with but when I am using my desktop it acts up. I say acts up cause I noticed that when I first open my computer with or without the Synapse software windows does pick up noise from mic but I don't hear anything through the headset. When my computer is ready to operate it switches and I can hear through my headset but my mic stops working. Funny thing is through the Synapse software when I activate the "sidetone" then I can hear my voice. When I check it though windows there is no green just dead slience.
I checked the privicy settings it is on allow
I checked the default audio device it is "Razor USB Sound Card" on mic and "THX Spatial Audio" on headset cause Synapse doesn't like it when I make it Usb Card.
I checked the volumes it is on 100 and I opened the mic boost too so that I can easyly hear my voice with sidetone.
I tried to delete and redownload the Razer Central, the Synapse and my motherboards sound driver.
I switched the usb card to a different usb port
I don't know what to the anymore..

I am using windows 10 on both of my computers (laptop is not licenced)

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

Open up Device Manager and see if you have any components flagged with a yellow exclamation mark. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment?

Did you try uninstalling the headset off the PC's Device Manager list?

IMHO, I avoid anything that has a Razer badge on it though you might want to read through this with a grain of salt.

Let's see
i5-3570
Snowman m800
H61M-K
HyberX Vengence/Fury(?) 8GB
3 HDD all of em 7200RPM
GeForce GT 1030
Codegen Q300 300W
Some old Everest Chassis
As I said Windows 10

There isn't but used to have something called "windows pci simple communications controller" then I downloaded a driver for it "intel_mei_10_0_27_1012_15m_driver"
BIOS American Megatrends Inc. 0604, 24.09.2013

Yes I tried uninstalling using the Device Manager too

I wanted to get something from Sennheiser but couldn't find something. I don't like Razer much but my friend likes the brand so ended up here.

Not: Thank you for moving the thread to right place.
Not: So my bios is not up to date so changing that now.

Okey bios is updated funnly I had my files ready I don't know why it wasn't up to date before now it is 0801

And I'm still having the problem. When my pc open saw some greens on my mic, but headset had no sound (aside from sidetone) then my pc settled and I can hear but my mic is gone again.
