Razer Boomslang

I recently purchased the 2000, and I get odd behavior out of it when I make quick movements to the left or right. The mouse pointer starts in the direction I want it to go, reverses direction and then tracks to where it should be. I usually have to really try to get it to do it, but there are times when it happens in Quake. Has anyone else noticed similar behavior?

I have that mouse and work fine. Did you download the newest drivers for it?

Yes, I have the newest drivers for it. They told me the same thing 3 times. Really, I am quite happy with how they are handling things. After 3 auto-response sounding e-mails, they sent me a notice saying that my replacement mouse will arrive in 10-14 days. Makes me feel a little better about my purchase, since they back up their products so well.

now That sounds like good service. But what if the same thing happens then what? Maybe it needs cleaned?

If the same thing happens again, I will have to assume that it is just something that I happened to notice that could not be helped in the design of the mouse. It behaved in that manner out of the box, and I checked it to see if it needed cleaned. Didn't help. Either the new one will work, or I will just live with it.
