I guess I wasn't so confused afterall

You proved my point for me...the 9500P wins in the newer games that are ps2.0 intensive. And posting one [H] article dosent make your theory 'conclusive' by any means. I'm not trying to pick on you, I hope I'm not coming across that way....

No worries...not all new games are ps2.0 intensive (which was kinda my point), but will more be (your counterpoint, sort of). Most of the new games I have played/demoed and liked were COD, NFS:U, Halo, FS2k4, Max Payne 2. Only one of which the 9500Pro won, so you see where I come from.

I saw another review where more resolutions and settings were tested on the newer games on those cards...still can't find it. I hate how [H] reviews only the best playable resolution most of the time (or as of recently). The other review I saw put them in a dead tie, IIRC.

I know, just got kinda sidetracked by somebody else who thought you were upgrading...I didn't allude to an upgrade at all until unsoldierpt messed everything up.

The memory bandwidth difference is the main reason to go with np over se.

Reasons not to Buy a Radion SE please

Reasons not to buy a Radeon PERIOD.
Buggy drivers/serious game incompatabilities/forcing monitors to run out of sync and burn up.
Rolling lines on screen for any card using the R300 core. Zero help/acknowledgement from ATi.
Releasing cards to the public under a certain name, but having the clock speeds vary. What a joke.
Opengl games mostly suck, and experience major glitches, or just plain dont work. Did they ever fix CS after all these months? I wont even bring up Call of Duty, how embarrasing.
You can suck the ATi dick all day if you hosers want, just dont expect every user who crosses this forum's path to be as stupid and moronic as you seem to be.

If you know so much, why are you promoting nVidia right now?? Makes sense for pre-R300 when the Tis ruled and maybe in a few months when NV40 is released...but not now.

ATi doesn't have buggy drivers anymore.
There is no evidence of monitor failures (maybe ATi paid them off, maybe it simply never happened).
As for clock speeds varying...nVidia is worse at it, a lot worse (ATi until only recently required that third party manufacturers stick to very specific clock speeds).
OpenGL games have worked on all Radeon cards I have used...even CS. As for COD, some people do and others don't have the problem; I've never tried to run it with a Radeon.
My card has more problems with CS and other OpenGL games than any Radeon I've used. COD works fine on my card.

Oh yeah, and I own ONLY nVidia cards right now

Since you are referencing problems with gaming I assumed you were pro nVidia...seeing as only ATi and nVidia are the two gamers right now. It's interesting how you think I'm pro-ATi, too. Oh well.
