Question Recommendations for a new wireless mouse ?

Hi everyone!


I’d like to ask for your help with choosing a mouse.
I’m currently using a Windows gaming PC with a Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro.
Recently, I bought a Mac Mini, and I need a mouse for it.


My question is: considering the following points, what mouse would you recommend?

• I’ll mostly use it for browsing the web, work, and everyday tasks
• I’d like it to have two side buttons (forward and back) on the left side
• It must be wireless
• It needs to be Mac compatible

What do you think would be a good choice?


Another option could be using my existing Razer mouse with the Mac Mini, and buying a new mouse for the Windows PC instead.


Either way is fine.

For work and casual I keep a few Logitech G305 around. A small, full size wireless mouse. And yes, is a decent gaming mouse. But for me it is more that I am used to gaming mice, so using one at work or on my media PC is more comfortable. Just uses AA too. If you want it lighter you can use a lithium cell, or a rechargeable lithium AA. I've also seen people adapt AAA into them.

I also have the Logitech G Pro Wireless, which is a little bigger, but has an integrated battery, and is nearly double the cost.

When on sale, the G305 is quite reasonable.

For my daily driver on my MSI Prestige 14H i use a Razer Pro Click Mini , for my Asus G15 i use a Asus ROG Gladius III.

The Gladius III is about the same size as the Deathadder, use a Deathadder at home and a Chroma at work. Been using Razer Deathadder's since 2008/2009, i did switch to a Logitech G903 with Powerplay charging pad but just didnt like the feel of it.

I cant tell you how many times i have had to pull my deathadder apart and add super glue to the tab that presses on the micro switch because i have warn the plastic out and would get miss clicks.

G305 is on my desk at work, as well!! I would second that recommendation. I like that it is battery powered versus having to plug in a cord to charge at work. Simple battery swap from the "Office Supply Cabinet" and I'm back up and running when needed. Simple for travel too.
