Hi, I have this old Toshiba Satellite C50-B-14D that my family used years ago.
Actual specs:
Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU N2830 2.16GHz
4 GB RAM
500 GB HHD (basic HHD of Thosiba)
Windows 10
Currently the computer runs very slow (to open the file manager takes almost a minute), it is practically unusable without swearing.
I would like to recover it to have a second pc with linux (or a lite version of Windows) to geek out, so I don't need much power.
I want to change the HHD to a 240 GB SSD, and reuse the HHD with a caddy adapter instead of the cd drive, so I can still use the HHD.
Then I want to change the RAM and put in an 8 GB one, and finally I want to change the power adapter to usb-c.
All while spending just over 50€ ($55.18), hopefully.
In your opinion is it worth it?
Thank you for your time and any responses.
