Red dram led

why is the mem led on and how do I get past this
I have tried everything I could think up and down
and nothing works the mem is still on.

hyper dimm 8g ddr3
ASUS P8 P67 Pro REV 3.1
i5 chip
heat sink on chip
Gigabyte hd 6870
amd radeon
