Reformat EZdrive HD

I have and older HD from a prior computer that has EZ drive on it. I tried to install it as a second HD on a newer Dell 4100 (PIII 800) system, but I cannot seem to get it to work WITH the new drive - only as a stand alone primary. Does this have something to do with the EZ drive software? If so how do I get it to work with the newer system - just want it for backup.

You can temporarily add EZ-Drive to the primary drive using an EZ-Drive boot floppy from Western Digital. You can download it from the Western Digital Website.

This will allow reading both disks until determining what to do with the older drive.

EZ-Drive can then be removed from the primary drive using the boot disk, since it is not required by the newer BIOS.
