Reinstall audio device free

The audio on the computer went off. I checked the control panel which indicates no audio system could be detected and no audio sound with the itune audio player could be detected. Do I need to reinstall the system? If so, how?

Go to your PC vendor's support site, download the drivers for your operating system for the sound card.
