I'm thinking of hooking up my PC directly to my TV, it's right on the other side of a wall, so I'd only need about a 10ft HDMI cable to reach.
This way I can enjoy the multimedia content on my PC much more directly. I've found DLNA servers to be too frustrating, either not streaming properly, or never updating with new content etc. I don't really want to have a big keyboard to lug around, so I wondered what might be a good idea to control it. (and maybe also what software might be nice to put on it? I know of Windows media center which might be all right, but would installing XBMC on it be a better route?) Do they make wireless remotes for Computers that could interface well w/ XBMC?
thx!
