One of the connectors on my hard drives PCB is short circuited. The model of my hard drive is WD10EACS-65D6B0. To replace it can i use any circuit board with WD10EACS or do I need the exact model; WD10EACS-65D6B0
Match the 2060-nnnnnn number on the PCB. Note that the "ROM" will need to be transferred from patient to donor. Some PCB suppliers (eg hdd-parts.com) will include this service in the price. If your board does not have an 8-pin chip at location U12, then you will need to find someone to "adapt" your PCB. I suggest you visit the HDD Oracle forum if this is the case.
