The GTX 1070 in my PC is already showing signs that it needs replacement soon (Or I might've messed up the driver update installation when I hard booted my PC because the black screen was taking a while so it crashed). I've been meaning to replace this GPU but I wanted to see how long it will last before it goes completely dead. I've played a lot of titles on playable settings (like No Man's Sky) and mostly e-sports titles.
I'm not sure what my buying decision should be. I was thinking of getting an RX 6600 because it "feels" like GTX 1070 with a 35% upgrade (like an RTX 2000 series card) and it's within my price range. But then again, I feel like I could save up for longer and buying the most recent gen card for a real upgrade.
I'm just looking for a card that feels like a significant upgrade that's "value for money" (meaning it won't be significantly expensive, just a reasonable price).
